Comeback Kings!

Our Varsity Football team came back from a 6 point deficit in the fourth quarter against Lovejoy to send a 12 -12 game into overtime, and then ended up winning the game 18-12!  Sr. RB Michael Fearn, stepped up with 36 carries for 195 yards.  The defense shutout Lovejoy in the second half and overtime. 

Homecoming Kings!

The Lions are now 4-0 after beating Mundy’s Mill 41 – 25 on Homecoming!  Sr. Jacoby Haynes threw for 195 in the air and ran for 155 on the ground to lead the lions.  Sr. Dequandre Moore had a big receiving day with 3 catches for 90 yards, and 2 touchdowns.  The defense did its

Big Plays!

Big time players, make big time plays, in big time games.  King starts off the season 3-0 after a 14-13 win over Mt. Zion.  This game came down to an 83 yard TD run by Sr. Jacobi Haynes, and a Punt return to the house by Sr. Dequandre Moore!

King 40 Arabia 6

The King’s back!  We’re off to a 2-0 start after blowing out Arabia Mountain 40 – 6.  The game was still a competitive 14 – 0 at the half, but in the second half Sr. QB Jacoby Haynes took over by making plays on the ground and through the air.  Our defense dominated, and so

King 26 Villa Rica 14

The Lions start the year 1-0 after a victory over Villa Rica.  The Lions won this game in the trenches.    The defensive line got penetration, and stuffed the run all night.  Defensive Linemen Marquel Parks and Devon Carmichael were unblockable.  The Lions defense didn’t give up a single point in the second half. Former Lions Football Player Ravarious Rivers is a National Champion!  Ravarious played WR and DB here at King, and is currently starting at DB for the 2018 Division 2 National Champion Valdosta State Blazers.
