The Lions start the year 1-0 after a victory over Villa Rica.  The Lions won this game in the trenches.    The defensive line got penetration, and stuffed the run all night.  Defensive Linemen Marquel Parks and Devon Carmichael were unblockable.  The Lions defense didn’t give up a single point in the second half. Lady Lions Beat Cedar Grove

The Lady Lions won a close home game over Cedar Grove this week 14-11.  This shows while that while they Lady Lions have excellent pitching, they can also win games with their bats.  This brings our record to 4-1.

Win Over Stephenson

Our Varsity Volleyball team opened up Region play with a home victory over Stephenson.  A took a total team effort to with the match.  Standouts at the net were Sr. Lauren Euler and Sr. Sylisha Clarke.  Jr. Jaelin Scott did an excellent job of setting up her teammates.

3 Early Wins!!!

Our Softball team has started the season with wins over Stone Mountain, and Mcnair.  Then they opened up Region play with a win over Morrow.  What a great to defend their 2018 Region Championship.  The team has been lead by pitcher Taniyah Fletcher.

Back to Back State Playoffs!

The Girls Basketball team beat MT. Zion 44-27 in the first round of the Region Tournament.  This victory sends them to the State Playoffs for the second year in a row.  So. Alaija Coates came off the bench to score 14 points in the first half.  So. Victoria Nwanze had 8 points to go with

Senior Night Victory!

The girls basketball team beat Mundys Mill on Senior Night.  Seniors Terrion Coates and Daziya Hairston truly played like it was their last home game.  Terrion had 14 points and Daziya had 13 points 4 rebounds and 4 assist.  Jr. Ashlynn Green scored 20 points of her own.

Boys beat Mt. Zion

Our Boys Basketball team blew out Mt. Zion 63-41. Jr. Terril Curb lead the way with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jr. Devonja Frett pitched in with 16 points of his own.

Region Champ!

Our Very own Keon Cush is the 285lb Wrestling champ in Region 4AAAAAA.  Congrats to Keon and Coach Williams on a job well done!
