Our Football Team beat Southwest Dekalb 8 to 6 in their spring game.  The defense looks like it’s in mid season form.  Holding Southwest to only 6 points is impressive.  On the other side of the ball rising junior, Jacoby Haynes, did a great job at quarterback.  Rising Senior Jaden Wilkerson scored both the touchdown

ir Sr. Jasmin Mathis has the Dekalb County record for goals in a season, the ML King record for goals scored in a career.  Now she can add a scholarship.  Jasmine has signed with Point University.

Congrats to our very own Ayanna Dennis.  She has signed a track scholarship to Georgia State University!

State Championship Meet

Congratulations to the girls and boys track team for their excellent finish this season. Concluding the season, the girls team was the Dekalb County runner-up at the Dekalb County Championship, the Region 4-6A Champion and the team concluded the season placing 5th overall at the GHSA State Championship Track meet. LAX Senior Night Win

LAX The Lady Lions Lacrosse Team beat Lakeside High School 8-6 on Senior Night!  Taylor Terrell scored twice.  Courtney Robinson had 3 goals.  Jenai Thomas lead the team defensively.

Signing Day!

Our very own Azhana Maxwell has signed a basketball scholarship with Savannah State!  She is All-State, All-Region, and Co-Region player of the year.  Now she is college bound.  We look forward to seeing her doing great things on the next level!

Boys Track 2nd in Region

Boys Track Region Runner Up!   Our boys track team brought home the trophy for 2nd place in the Region for the second year in a row.  Kudos to Coach Hammonds.  Since taking over Boys Track he hasn’t finished worse than 2nd in the region and has taken the cross country team to the state
