The Lady Lions Basketball team won their 4th game in a row by beating Kell 54-50.  Sr. Terrion Coates had 10 points.  So. Victoria Nwanze had 8 points 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.  Keke Dash and Ashlyn Green had 8 points as well.

Former Lions Football Player Ravarious Rivers is a National Champion!  Ravarious played WR and DB here at King, and is currently starting at DB for the 2018 Division 2 National Champion Valdosta State Blazers.

Lady Lions 61 Mt. Zion 59

The Girls Varsity basketball team beat Mt. Zion 61-59 on Friday Night.  The Lady Lions were lead by Jr. Ashlynn Green who scored 15 points and added 6 rebounds and 6 assist.  Sr. Terrion Coates added 14 points and Jr. Alaija Coates scored 13.  This win placed the Lady Lions at 4th in the region.

Region Win!

The Boys Varsity Basketball team won their 3rd Region game of the year by beating Forest Park 58 – 54.  Terrill Curb lead the Lions with 22 points and 11 rebounds.  Devonja Frett scored 19 points of his own.

Boys & Girls Beat Drew

Friday night both our boys and girls basketball teams beat Drew High School.  The girls were lead by captain Ashlynn Green who had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assist and 2 blocks.  So. Alaija Coates scored 17 points by hitting five 3’s.  The lady Lions won 51-40.  The girls are now 3-2 in

Win over Lovejoy

The boys basketball team started the season off with a victory over Lovejoy on the road.  Starting off the season 1-0 in the region is big!  Devonte Frett had 20 points 4 boards and 2 assists.  Terrill Curb had 13 points and 4 boards, and Lamont Barner added 12 points of his own.

Boys & Girls Region Runner Up!

Our boys cross country team missed the region championship by 5 points.  We lost to Tucker 49-54.  We still brought home the region runner up trophy.  Demetrius Carson finished 2nd in the region with a time of 17.15.99.  Zaire Anderson-Brown finished sixth.   The girls cross country team finished region runner up as well.  The
