King Alumn Beats Duke!

King HS Alumn leads Stephen F. Austin to victory over Duke!  Kevonn Harris lead his team with 26 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists over #1 Duke!  We look forward to Kevonn being selected in the NBA Draft in June!

5 in a row!

The Lady Lions Basketball Team won 5 games in a row!  They beat Tucker, New Manchester, Cambridge, Lassiter, and Drew.  The Lady Lions are being lead on the offensive end by Sr. Ashlynn Green 18 ppg and Jr. Alaija Coates 10ppg.  This bring the Lady Lions to a 6-2 start for the season!

New Weight-Room

A year ago King Alumn Kevin Byard had his uniform retired here at King.  This year the Tennessee Titans All-Pro Safety donated a new weight-room to our school! Thanks Kevin!

Signing Day!

Congrats to Ashlynn Green for signing with Division 1 Arkansas Pinebluff-University!  Ashlynn is has been an All-Region and All-County performer since her Sophomore year and will score 1000 points during her senior season!

Region Champs!

Congrats to our Cheerleaders on winning the Region Championship!

Congrats to our Girls Cross Country team on winning the Region Championship!  The girls will run in the state meet on November 1st.

Region Runners Up

Congrats to our Boys Cross Country Team on finishing 2nd in the Region.  The Boys have qualified for the State Meet for the 4th year in a row.

Award SZN

Jr. Taniyah Fletcher (pictured) has been named the top pitcher in Dekalb County by the Dekalb County coaches.  Her teammate Isabella Escobar was named to the All-County Academic Team.  Isabella was also named to the County Senior All-Star team along with Breona Wyche.

Another 1st Place Trophy

Congrats to our Competition Team on winning 1st place at the Stockyard Roundup competition at Kell High School!  The ladies have finished first place in every competition they have entered so far!

Comeback Kings!

Our Varsity Football team came back from a 6 point deficit in the fourth quarter against Lovejoy to send a 12 -12 game into overtime, and then ended up winning the game 18-12!  Sr. RB Michael Fearn, stepped up with 36 carries for 195 yards.  The defense shutout Lovejoy in the second half and overtime.
